BRIAN E. LACEY, a partner with WaltersLacey LLP in Boston, counsels charities, churches, businesses, families, and individuals in the areas of non-profit law, charitable giving, intellectual property concerns such as trademarks and copyrights, trusts and estates, fiduciary concerns, and real estate matters. Mr. Lacy has helped clients use their resources effectively, as he has been a fiduciary of various charitable concerns, including the treasurer of Boston’s historic Park Street Church, where he prepared and oversaw budget, financial, capital campaign, and endowment matters. Mr. Lacey received his B.A. from Tufts University, his M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and his J.D. from Boston College Law School.
William T. Whittenberg, Jr. - (Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA):
WILLIAM T. WHITTENBERG, Jr. is of counsel with Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA in Manchester. For the past eighteen years, Mr. Whittenberg has concentrated his practice on wealth transfer and wealth preservation, including general estate planning, sophisticated estate and gift tax planning, charitable estate planning, and asset protection planning, including long term care and elder law. He frequently writes and lectures on estate planning and technical estate tax issues to attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors. Mr. Whittenberg is a member of the Massachusetts and the New Hampshire Bar Associations and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, a founding member of WealthCounsel and The Advisors Forum, and a fellow of the Esperti Peterson Institute. He also served as an elected member of the Advisory Board to and charter member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys. Mr. Whittenberg earned his B.A. at Colby College, his LL.M. in Taxation at Boston University School of Law, and his J.D., cum laude, at Suffolk University Law School.
Christine N. Fletcher - (Burns & Levinson LLP):
CHRISTINE N. FLETCHER, with the Private Client Group of Burns & Levinson LLP in Boston, practices in the areas of wills and trusts, estate tax planning, planning for incapacity, business succession planning, and probate and trust administration. In addition, she advises on business law matters to clients with closely held and family-owned businesses. Ms. Fletcher is an active member of the Boston Estate Planning Council where she serves on the Membership Communications Committee. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. Ms. Fletcher received her B.A., cum laude, from Boston University and her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, where she was the president of the Women’s Law Caucus.
