Roxanne F. Lopez - (Lopez & Wilmert, LLP):
ROXANNE F. LOPEZ, a partner in Lopez & Wilmert, LLP in Chula Vista, practices in landlord-tenant law and family Law. Her landlord-tenant practice includes drafting and preparing notices and filing and litigating unlawful detainer actions. She also practices in all aspects of family law, including divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, spousal support, marital settlement agreements, and restraining orders. Ms. Lopez, who is fluent in English and Spanish, has successfully negotiated countless settlements, conducted numerous trials regarding child custody, child visitation, move-away requests, child protective services matters, interstate child abduction, and child support and spousal support matters. Ms. Lopez has been practicing law for over ten years, and prior to that, for thirteen years, she was a clerk with the San Diego Superior Court. Ms. Lopez has vast knowledge of court procedures and policies. She is currently a member of the San Diego County Bar Association Lawyer Referral and Information Service. Ms. Lopez is admitted to practice in California and the U.S. District Court Southern District of California. In addition to practicing law, she is committed to community service and volunteers with the San Diego County Bar Association Volunteer Judge for Madison High, the San Diego County Bar Association judge for high school mock trial competition, and the San Diego County Bar Association Volunteer for Children at Risk Reading Program. Ms. Lopez earned her B. A. at the University of California-San Diego and her J.D. at Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

Hillery M. Stones - (Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP):
HILLERY M. STONES, with Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP in San Diego, represents clients in all types of real estate disputes and in numerous related business disputes. Ms. Stones counsels lending institutions, large and small commercial and residential developers, business owners, and individuals in litigation matters ranging from landlord -tenant disputes, commercial leases, commercial contracts, title disputes, mechanic’s lien law matters, partition actions, unlawful detainers, and other property disputes. She also has extensive experience in contract and tort claims arising from residential purchase and sale agreements, development and construction issues, in-construction defect matters, and in energy regulatory law. Ms. Stones has successfully prosecuted her clients’ claims and defended claims against her clients by way of pre-litigation resolution, mediation, settlement, and trial. She has obtained a successful jury verdict as well as successful court judgments. Ms. Stones also provides representation to various pro bono clients, including through her work with San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program and in other matters. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the San Diego County and American Bar Associations, the Lawyers Club of San Diego, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, and the San Diego Council on Literacy, board member. L. Sue Loftin - (The Loftin Firm LLP):
L. SUE LOFTIN, managing partner of The Loftin Firm LLP in Carlsbad, practices in the areas of real estate, business law and litigation. Ms. Loftin has authored several articles for publication on California affordable housing, evictions, exempt organizations, and unrelated business income. Ms. Loftin is admitted to practice in California.
